Extra Hours

Beatles

Every week from 6:15 to 8:45 PM on Tuesday, I participated in Mr. Rollinson's Beatles Seminar. In this class we slowly progressed through the entire Beatles discography, learning about the history behind the group and the making of each album. After listening on our own, we would rate each one from 0-5 and discuss the total class rankings once we met. At the end of the course, we ranked every album and our top 20 songs in order, comparing ourselves against historical statistics and coming out of it with a great playlist.

For the Vanguard, we met weekly, working on the graduation spread. This is our final issue of the Vanguard, and we are hoping to portray our four years here as a show, with episode ratings and fond memories. We also spent much of the time working on our superlatives for each member of the grade.

Vanguard
Grade Council

Our Grade Council meetings were weekly. Our goals were to set up fun events for the class to participate in, as well as collect important information and plan upcoming events such as Prom and Senior Sunset. We made announcements regularly at class meetings and selected the different aspects of Prom that we hoped to achieve for the class.

Breads and Spreads

Although it wasn't officially part of my SSP. Every week on Wednesday, I helped make bread for the Breads and Spreads seminar. It was super fun to learn how to create different types of bread and all the different techniques that could be applied depending on what the outcome was supposed to be. My favorite was easily foccacia.
